Brad Pitts Production Company Buys Rights to Heavily Demanded Story

Special Screening Of The Documentary "Big Men" - After Party

Hollywood makes millions by making film-adaptations of tragic real life events. It’s a practice that has been going on for years and there is absolutely zero probability that it’s going to stop anytime soon. In the latest such news, Brad Pitt‘s production company is now involved.

Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment company has purchased the rights to the Rolling Stone story “Anonymous vs. Steubenville” written by David Kushner. The popular magazine writer’s piece focuses on “hacktivist” and Anonymous member David Lostutter’s role in revealing information and exposing cover-ups relating to the 2012 case of a 16-year old girl being raped by two high school football players in a small town. The movie will most-likely cover Lostutter’s story and how he helped blow the lid of a cover-up that involved many people including school officials.

It’s a fascinating story because Lostutter’s house was raided by the FBI and he faces 10-years in prison for various crimes such as “computer crimes” and “aggravated identity theft”, while Trent Mays and Ma’lik Richmond each received a year in prison for the rape of an innocent high school girl. The general sentiment from The Post is that this film could help Lostutter’s case.

There has been no information released on casting, production and release of the film. We will keep you posted as the story begins to develop.
