Drake Cosies up to Shania Twain at Concert

Canadian born rapper Drake had a very special guest at his latest concert on his Summer Sixteen tour in Nashville; none other than country legend and fellow Canadian Shania Twain.

During the concert Drake dedicated a set to the country star, telling the audience on Sunday; “I grew up a fan. I just want to say that, like, Shania Twain came to my show tonight, you know what I’m saying Nashville? So this next set, right here, I’m doing this for Shania. This is my love set for Shania, right here,”  

The great night for the 29-year-old star didn’t stop there though, once he had finished performing he was able to meet Shania Twain who is currently in Nashville recording her fifth studio album, backstage.

He shared the snap of him cosying up to his idol, with the caption: “My WCW [woman crush Wednesday] even thought it’s Monday. Shania” .

The 50-year-old star looks casual and pretty in the snap next to a grinning Drake.

Shania also re-posted the photo on her own Instagram account with the caption: “AMAZING show, such a wonderful guy!”. 

We just love it when we find out huge names such as Drake are just as star struck around their faves as anyone else.
