#Quote
1[Who described about Gene Wilder's real-life persona]: He was very different off-screen.He was the funny man on-screen but in reality, he wasn't funny. He was very quiet and kind of shy. He'd get very demonstrative telling a story - that's when you'd see him come alive.
2[Of Gene Wilder]: He was very undressing with his eyes though, but he didn't get lucky. Throughout the whole film what he did for me was amazing. He was acting with me, he was directing me. It is a lot for a man to do - and his girlfriend was in it too.
3[on her on- and off-screen chemistry with Gene Wilder, who played Teddy Pierce in The Woman in Red (1984)]: Gene was more than a co-star to me, he was my father in film. I loved him and Gilda deeply. I cry with every word.
